I can’t start the day without checking my iPhone for new emails, calls and messages. And I’m sure most of you are the same, particularly since according to Movable Ink’s most recent data 47% of all sent emails are now opened on smartphones, which alone…

I freaking love summer for so many reasons, one of those reasons are of course dresses. I don’t know about you but I hardly ever wear capris or even shorts for that matter. The fact that I am short myself and a little on the curvy side, I have a hard time finding shorts that look and feel good, and the same goes for capris (they tend to make me look shorter unless I’m wearing heels).
So basically my wardrobe in the summer consists of dresses. I have A LOT of dresses. Dresses for almost every occasion and the key is you really only need a few that you can do a lot with. In this post I will show you 3 dresses for 3 occasions that will surely get you through your summer.
- The first being a maxi dress. There is a lot you can do with a maxi. Dress it up or down, flats or heels, there are really no rules.
- The second is the classic “little black dress”. However, for summer you want to keep it simple and not elegant, even if you’re going to a function at night.
- The third is a wrap dress. This type of dress looks good on EVERYBODY.
Check out the different accessories paired with each type to get the full effect. If you stick to these basic rules you can mix and match to create even more styles. A little really goes a long way.
In the last post we showed you 6 tops that were perfect for the summer. As we said before, stripes, denim, and crop tops are all the rage. In this post we show you 6 bottoms that would look great with any of the below tops.
It’s important to keep in mind when wearing a crop top you must pair it with a high waisted bottom. Whether or not that is a skirt, shorts, or jeans. We hope you liked part 1 and part 2. It’s easy to pair outfits only using a few items.
