Being able to take notes about your bird watching adventures is a great way to track the types of birds that you see. You can use your notebook to jot down the name of the bird and the location where you saw it. You can even write down a few of your thoughts about it. 3. Binoculars.

If you want to capture photos while travelling of the birds that you see, you should invest in a high-quality camera that has a zoom lens. That way, you can zoom in on the birds and capture a close-up photo no matter how far away they are in real life.
