Review: Garnier BB Cream

It’s been about a week since I started using Garnier BB Cream. I kept seeing the commercials promoting this product along with several others that claim to produce the same results, so finally I caved and picked up my first tube. This tube cost’s around $11 which may seem costly but after using it I feel that it is actually a good product for the money.

Here’s the skinny:

A combination of Hyaluronic Acid, Lipidure Microspheres + Glycerin retains water in the skin, allowing it to maintain superior moisture levels and improve softness and suppleness of skin for 24 hours.

Vitamin C provides antioxidant properties, boosts radiance and luminosity of skin.

Mineral Pigments delicately and immediately beautiful skin. The rich pigments instantly melt and spread flawlessly over skin.

It’s available in two shades: Light/Medium and Medium/Deep

The saying a little goes along way is absolutely true

Tips:

While this does contain a moisturizer, don’t throw away your old moisturizer yet; in these last few winter months my skin is still very dry, I find that I still need a dab of regular moisturizer on my forehead first. If I don’t do this my skin tends to look caked on with the BB Cream.

The color is pretty true complexion.  At first I bought the Medium/Deep one to produce more color but after using it I found that it was too deep in color for my skin tone. If you are fair to Medium, I would suggest the Light/Medium shade.

Results:

My results have been very satisfactory. It defiantly makes my skin look more even and not as pale (which I can’t stand). It’s a bit like wearing makeup but not super heavy.

Let us know if you’ve tried this product or any others that have shown results.
