‘Twas The Night Before Tbex

‘Twas the night before Tbex when all through the states,

Not a creature was stirring, not even an Aussie mate,

The clothes were all packed and the luggage was near,

In the hopes that Colorado soon would be here.

The bloggers were nestled all snug in their beds,

While visions of hot tub parties danced in their heads.

I had just closed my eyes for a moment or two,

And started dreaming about all the stuff we would do,

When suddenly my alarm began making a loud racket,

All I wanted to do was lean over and smack it!

The day is here, it was so hard to wait;

The anticipation was killing me,

Time to meet Kheidee at the gate!

The drive to the airport was taking too long,

Bloggers everywhere were taking airports by storm.

When all of a sudden Kim Mance did appear,

Reminding us all what soon would be here.

On workshops! On speakers!

On high altitude! On meetings!

On good friends! On drinking!

On warm welcome greetings!

Her message delivered, she vanished from sight

And we all smiled fondly as we boarded our flight

I sat in my seat, settled in for awhile

Then turned to Kheidee and we started to smile

We couldn’t wait to meet up with friends, old and new

This was something we had waited 12 months to do

The plane took off, I grabbed my arm rest real tight

Happy Tbex to all and to all a good flight
